Houston native, J.R. “John Ross” Dike graduated from the University of Houston and received his
degree in Psychology with a minor in Spanish. In 2011, He landed his first role in a stage play
entitled “Love Is”. “Love Is” would become John Ross’s first independent film. His second independent
film entitled “Pipe Dreams” premiered in Houston in 2018. His credits include Chameleon Sunrise a
short film he produced and G.R.U.$.T.L.E. Diaries a web-series about the journey an independent actor
takes to make it to the next level. John had the opportunity to play a villain in Fatal Attraction a
crime-documentary aired on TV-One. His upcoming work includes: Plan B- the story of two African
American friends and their decision to learn to endure or succumb to the lifestyle society expects of
African American males, Carousel- the story of closing the revolving door and New Arrivals- a story
about a man expecting his first child. In 2018 He founded Still Visionary Inc., multi media
production company that serves as a platform for John to be able to put out his minds creative
desires. John Ross appears in his podcast entitled”Whats Next!?” What Next!? is a podcast created
from a creative for the creatives. The guests that are featured will discuss their ventures and the
ultimate goal of their creativity! John Ross is a proud member of Kings of Israel #19 AF&AM Masonic
Lodge under the watchful guide of The Most Worshipful H.B. Turner Grand Lodge in Houston, TX where he
serves as the Past Master. Their goal within the fraternity is “Making Dreams Reality.”
