Born in St. Louis, Missouri in the late seventies, Regina Cooper has been singing and acting since she was 8 years old. She starred in the school play every year, participated in school talent shows, and even won a karaoke contest on a cruise singing the song from the classic Dreamgirls musical, made famous by Jennifer Holiday, “And I Am Telling You.” Regina has since acted in plays, commercials and movies, which she says contributes to her success in her primary career, teaching middle school. “Teaching for me is like acting in a new show every day. There are no tickets to sell, and my audience returns five days a week for my performances. It’s the best job I’ve ever had!” Regina currently resides in Houston, Texas, with her wonderful husband and two children.
